    Million Barrel Museum

    The Million Barrel Museum combines an old Shell Oil Company tank and a historic home know as the Holman House. The tank was built by the Shell Oil Company in 1928 to hold barrels during the oil boom. The house was originally a hotel and has been refurnished and redecorated to reflect the turn of the 19th century. Many items collected from early oil drilling, farming and everyday living have been collected and displayed at the museum.

    El Paso Museum of Art

    The El Paso Museum of Art is a fine arts museum with a permanent collection that includes European, American and Mexican colonial art ranging from the 13th to the 20th centuries, as well as contemporary southwestern and Mexican art.     Fort Bliss Museums

    Four museums are located on Fort Bliss and known collectively as the Fort Bliss Museums. They are the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Museum, the Third Cavalry Museum, the Museum of the Non-Commissioned Officer, and the Fort Bliss Museum. Together, they provide a glimpse into the history of Fort Bliss from 1848 onward, as well as into American military history.

    The history of El Paso and the area surrounding it dates back 400 years, and is captured through the exhibits found in the El Paso Museum of History. There is lots to be found here, dating to times of Spanish and Mexican influences to the the present day. Displays contain artefacts including costumes, firearms, cooking equipement and other items.

    The Clark Hotel Museum, or the Culberson County Historical Museum, has relics from the American Indians, pioneers and families who resided in the area. There are also artifacts from the railroad and the saloon in Van Horn.

    Annie Riggs Memorial Museum

    What was once an adobe hotel in 1900 is now the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum. Exhibits include an antique hotel room with all the trimmings, a sheriff's desk and others. The hotel is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with extended hours in the summer.
