Scenic Overlook
This sightseeing area can be found 18 mi (29 km) east of Langtry on Hwy 90, overlooking the canyon above the Pecos River. An old bridge had been constructed by pioneers crossing the canyon in the 19th century, but washed out years ago. The new bridge is 273 ft (83 m) above the river below, making it the highest bridge in Texas.

Peguis Canyon
Just before the Mexican border on the Chihuahuan Highway, 25 mi (40 km) from Presidio is the Peguis Canyon. This canyon is 2000 ft (610 m) deep and offers miles of scenery.
