Kokernot Field and Park The Kokernot Field has many facilities to offer users, including a swimming pool, a baseball field, a trail and many picnic areas. The Sun Bowl Stadium can be found on the UTEP campus. It was renovated in 2001, and holds 50,426 people. The stadium is best known for being the home of the Wells Fargo Sun Bowl, held around New Year's Eve each year. The Sun Bowl has been part of El Paso's events since 1935.
