Judge Roy Bean Visitor's Center

Judge Roy Bean was a well known and eccentric man who was the law in Pecos and Langtry at the end of the 19th century. Today Langtry holds the preserved saloon where Bean would try his cases. The center is open daily, except for major holidays.

Seminole Canyon State Park & Historic Site is located in Val Verde County, just west of Comstock. Hiking, camping, mountain biking and historical study are among the activities offered at the park. Visitors have the chance to take guided tours that showcase American Indian rock paintings.
